Sushi Table
(3D Texturing)
A blender experiment with food. The goal was to see how far I can push the textures of food to resemble the actual dish.
The hardest part was trying to get the texture of the rice right: it was difficult to find a way to show the translucency of the rice. Other than that, I experimented with node-based texturing, showing the interior in sliced food, and water physics, to name a few.

H.X.T. Labs
(3D Environment concept)

A lab with mechanical/sci-fi design elements, and a grungy and mechanical mood. Yet, it gives off a feeling that secret advanced research is being performed in this building.
The room is split into a few parts: The main area on L1, where staff will enter through a small security chamber and be cleared for admittance to the research tables; the testing chamber, which is visible on both floors through the glass panels and either level. Finally, there's a second floor pathway leading from the elevator to the glass panel, with a small data collection facility in the corner.

Kitchen Interior
(Realistic modeling)
This is a scene modeled off a reference picture of a kitchen from a furniture catalogue.
Modeled and rendered in 3ds Max, textures arranged in Photoshop.
