Gothic fashion has enduring negative connotations; recently, however, as the fashion industry grows and expands, innovative designers have dipped into this particular region, so much that it has evolved into a thriving subculture of its own.

Even so, as with all alternative fashions, it is judged harshly by an apprehensive society; such that when one does summon up the courage to wear such clothings, they are mercilessly shot down and categorized; no different from being in a cage.
Our foray into designing for gothic fashion has us taking these misconceptions and intepreting them in visual representation as well as fabric manipulation.
Cage-like structures, seared hems- A silent rebellion; the deviation from stucture and complete form is created to inspire individuals to stand out and feel empowered by their differences.
